Pina’s teammate in this battle is his father Mike Pina Sr. The Pinas opened a quarterback development camp called QB Velocity in Brockton to help prospects develop their talents.
QB Danny Fogarty elevates Spaulding’s offense with his arm and his legs
Fogarty is not a prototypical high school quarterback at 5-8. His lack of size does not weigh heavily on his mind. “I don’t think that’s a good reason to doubt someone,” he said. “I think it’s right in my heart. If you play hard and work hard you’re going to get that spot.”

For the Thomas twins, both seniors at Old Rochester, that meant getting in as much work as possible during their extended offseason, whether it was training regularly with QB Velocity or starting their own local 7-on-7 league.

Pina, who graduated from Nichols this year, is the founder of QB Velocity, a football program that helps build the skills and confidence of young players, providing them with mentorship and training. He was also starting quarterback for the Nichols College Bison since 2019.
